The Federal Agency for State Reserves is a federal body of executive authority that provides state services, manages state property and implements legal regulation in the management of state reserves.
The Federal Agency for State Reserves is responsible for:
• the creation, distribution, storage, utilisation and rotation of stocks of state reserves;
• implementing national policy in organising mobilisation in the Russian Federation, emergency relief operations, supporting industries, constituent entities and organisations, providing humanitarian aid, regulating the market, and conducting trade and commodity interventions.
