The Federal Treasury is a federal body of executive authority empowered by Russian legislation to ensure the fulfilment of the federal budget, cash servicing of the fulfilment of the budgets of the Russian budget system, preliminary and routine control of operations with the monies of the federal budget by the authorised signatories, signatories, and recipients of federal budget funds.
