The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) is a federal body of executive authority responsible for control and supervision over veterinary, quarantine and plant protection strategies, pesticide and agrochemical safety, soil fertility maintenance, grain, grain by-products, combined fodder and its components, as well as grain-related products quality standards, farmland regulation, forest regulation (excluding forests located in protected areas), protection, reproduction and use of game animals and their habitat, and animal-related disease prevention.
