The Ministry of Culture is a federal agency under the executive branch responsible for:
• drafting and implementing national policy in culture, art, historical and cultural heritage, cinematography, archiving, copyright and associated rights
• the legal regulation of culture, art, historical and cultural heritage (with the exception of cultural heritage protection), cinema, archiving, copyright and associated rights (with the exception of monitoring compliance with copyright and associated rights)
• managing state property
• providing state services in culture and cinematography.
