The Federal Guard Service is a federal body of executive authority responsible for drafting national policy and legal regulation, supervision and monitoring in the sphere of:

• state guard services;
• special types of telecommunications used by the President and the Government;
• information provided to federal bodies of state authority, bodies of state authority in the regions of the Russian Federation and to other state bodies.
