The Federal Tariff Service is a federal body of executive authority responsible for legal regulation in the sphere of state regulation of prices for goods and services in compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and control of  their application with the exception of prices and tariffs regulated by other federal executive bodies, as well as by federal executive bodies regulating the natural monopolies that determine prices and tariffs and exercise control over their determination and application in the case of  natural monopolies.
